Take Your Country Back: Go Vote for a Conservative Today!

Remember Obama’s speech at the end of the 2008 primaries? Obama told us that we would look back on that day as “the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal,” we began providing “jobs for the jobless,” and so on. Well, we’ve seen how two years of his catastrophic policies have worked out. Today we go to the polls for the 2010 mid-term elections. Today Democrats will lose control of the House, and possibly the Senate. If Conservatives had a spokesman half as arrogant or self-aware as Obama, he might give a speech something like this:

I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide real opportunity for those willing to work for it and tax breaks for everyone, including the middle class; this was the moment when the rise of the federal government began to slow and our national debt began to shrink; this was the moment when we ended a war on capitalism and secured our borders and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth. This was the moment—this was the time—when we came together to restore this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves and our highest ideals.

To rely on another Obama-ism, “Let me be clear…” Having a strong opinion doesn’t count. Having a yard sign doesn’t count. Telling your friends that you’re tired of out of control government doesn’t help. You have to cast your vote. Get to the polls today and vote for as many Conservatives as you can. Then, two years from now, come back and finish what starts today by throwing Obama out of office.
