Nancy Pelosi and Wisconsin Unions: What the H##L are they Thinking

While the Wisconsin State Patrol is turning over every bar and coffee house in a 3 state area looking for these Democratic State Senators who won’t come in (their found now…I still think it’s funny to say), we at the Red State Report thought we should calmly and impartially shed some facts on the dispute between Governor Walker and these imbiciles in the Wisconsin Legislature.  Oh, did I mention this will be impartial?!

Here are the facts:

  • While the average teachers salary in the Milwaukee School District is $56,500 (which we don’t think is out of line at all), their overall compensation is $100,005 in 2011. This is according to the Milwaukee School Board. How many regular, blue or white collar, non-union jobs do you know of where the “fringe” benefits are 80% of the actual salary?  If you know where these exist in the private sector, please let us know.  The Red State Report is always looking for more perks.  If we got these kind of perks, you would see us kiss this blog goodbye.
  • Jesse Jackson has stuck himself to the mix.  On Friday, he decided that somehow, or another, this is the same type of issue as a March for Civil Rights. This is code for the Rainbow Coalition needing more money, or an additional child support payment for Mr. Jackson.  He even led a rendition of “We Shall Overcome.” He even calls this a “Real Martin Luther King Moment.” This is the kiss of death for the Unions.  Nothing indicates that someone’s protest is off the mark nowadays more than Jesse showing up at it.
  • The Wisconsin Senators cannot actually be arrested in order to come in to the Legislature.  According to Wisconsin State Law, the Senators cannot be arrested during a legislative session…no, we’re not kidding!  They can send out the State Troopers to their homes, but all they can do is ask.  I have to credit Matty in the Red State Report. He always says that Democrats will outmaneuver Republicans when it comes to slimey tricks.  You can’t tell us that some intern read this and pointed this out to one of their cronies.
  • Lastly, the last time we checked, the majority of Wisconsin Voters put the Republicans in power this last November because they wanted to improve the business climate in the State.  While Jesse and the Gang are getting the TV time, the majority of the people want this passed and passed now.  The majority needs to speak up and speak up now.  Once this is passed, you can go back and talk about something important like the Packers or the weather!

Rush Limbaugh posed this question several weeks ago on his radio show during the Greece protests, “which side of the argument would Obama be on, the Greece government or the Greece Union members who were burning down their country?”  We now have an answer to that question!  On  Thursday, Obama accused the state’s new Republican governor, of unleashing an “assault” on unions in pushing emergency legislation that would change future collective-bargaining agreements that affect most public employees, including teachers.

The other person to talk very briefly about is Nancy Pelosi.  The only person who is a bigger kiss of death than Jesse Jackson for the Unions is her.  She left as Majority Leader with a 13% approval rating.  This is what she said:

“Wisconsin’s workers, teachers and public servants must have a seat at the table to fight for a safe workplace,” she said. “I stand in solidarity with the Wisconsin workers fighting for their rights, especially for all the students and young people leading the charge.”

You could almost hear the Democratic Party telling her to shut up. Nancy, when you lose as badly as you did in November, it’s usually wise to keep quiet for at least 6 months until some people may want to hear from you again.  Of course, no Union Member or anyone involved on their side is listening to the facts or saying anything that makes sense.  So, I guess, Nancy can just speak away since that’s what she did when she was running the House!

Keep in mind that Wisconsin has made some strong conservative overtures in this last election.  These protests are mostly taking part in Madison (yes, they are spreading to such liberal havens in Minnesota and Michigan) where “left wing” isn’t a menu item at Hooters, it’s a way of life in Madison.  Don’t lose faith in the average American who doesn’t have a cushy union job making over $100,000.  Most Americans are not opposed to those who make it the old fashion way of working hard and being recognized for their contributions.  We just feel ham-strung when our public servants are rewarded for their contributions to AFL-CIO, NEA, SEIU etc…

I fell onto your silly page by accident. Nancy Pelosi is beloved by Democrats. She is articulate and icredibly competent and was the most efficient Speaker of the House in generations. As we watch Beyhnor bumble and stumble through his first 6 weeks like a Boy Scout. Boy being the operative word. He can barely get a vote out. He will have plenty to cry about. The clumsy Republicans will be drown out by the sounds of the peoples voices–until he, and all of the Republicans are cleaned out of Office across the Country. Thank god for the Tea Party. I’d love to see 10 more of them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watch the Clumsy ACT II about to take place!!!!!!!!!

HA HA HA – Nancy Pelosi is to “articulate and icredibly competent” as Muammar al-Qaddafi is to articulate and just. Pelosi didn’t become the lowest approved of Speaker of the House by being “articulate and icredibly competent”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, being a socialist like odumbo didn’t help her either, I’ll give you that. HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
